The system will display a new pop-up window where you can enter information for the new website if you select the ‘+New Website’ option.
If the platform operates in a multi-company setup, you will be prompted to enter the Associated Company, Website Name, and Website Domain in the new pop-up window. Next, you will see a Language section, where you can specify the language you want this website to be accessible in.
The default language will be automatically selected as the final option. Once all the necessary information has been entered, click Create at the bottom left corner of the pop-up window. After processing the website, the system will open a new window for further configuration.
With this window, you can create a stunning website in just four simple steps. Click the “LET’S DO IT” button to proceed with the guided setup. Alternatively, you can choose the “Skip and Start from Scratch” button located in the bottom-right corner of the window if you prefer to create your website manually.
Next, you need to decide on the type of website you want to create. Odoo suggests several options: Business Website, Online Store, Blog, Event Website, and eLearning Platform. Once the website type is selected, you can specify its purpose. The system will provide a dropdown menu where you can choose the most appropriate option after describing your website’s goal.
Once you’ve entered all the details, the system will present a new window with a selection of pre-designed color palettes, as shown in the image above. These palettes can enhance the aesthetics and style of your website while helping to establish a recognizable brand identity.
If you prefer not to select a color scheme manually, you can upload your logo for automatic recognition. When you upload your logo, Odoo will analyze it and suggest a matching color scheme based on your brand’s design. Simply click the ‘upload’ arrow and follow the prompts to add your logo.

You can access the Website Homepage window with just a single click on the menu. Here, you can explore various menus and website design capabilities. From this page, you can directly manage content, create new pages, and oversee your website.
The Create New option appears at the top right corner, allowing users to easily create new pages, as shown below. This simplifies the process of adding new pages to your website and helps manage your content efficiently.
With the Create New option, you can create various types of content, such as a page, blog post, event, forum, job opportunity, product, course, and even a live chat widget. This flexibility allows you to quickly add diverse elements to your website to meet your business needs.
In Odoo 17, a wide range of block tools are available. Each page of the website has an “Edit” option that grants access to these tools.
